Overview
Our client, a respected and well-established Law Firm based in the heart of Blackburn, is currently seeking an experienced Financial Mis-Selling Solicitor to join their growing team.
This is a hybrid role – offering flexibility with 2 days per week in the office.
The successful candidate will manage a caseload of financial mis-selling claims from inception to conclusion. Prior experience dealing with CCA (Consumer Credit Act) claims and Undisclosed commission claims is essential.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage a full caseload of financial mis-selling matters independently

Review files and regularly update clients, referrers, and team leaders

Liaise with experts and gather evidence to support cases

Negotiate settlements or pursue claims through litigation where appropriate

Prepare and issue proceedings, including Schedules of Special Damages and Trial bundles

Attend Court and liaise with Counsel where necessary

Ensure timely communication with clients, third parties, and the wider legal team

Actively participate in team meetings and report case progress or concerns

Assist colleagues and contribute to a collaborative team environment
What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in handling financial mis-selling claims from cradle to grave
-
Strong working knowledge of CCA and related regulations

Confident litigator with strong drafting and negotiation skills

Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines
