Are you an experienced Subrogation or Motor Litigation Solicitor looking to join a well-established and growing law firm with a strong reputation in the insurance sector?
We’re working with a highly regarded firm in Warrington that is looking to expand its Subrogation team due to continued growth. This is an excellent opportunity to handle high-quality work, including complex and high-value recovery claims for insurer clients.
The Role
You will manage your own caseload of claimant subrogated recovery matters, handling both pre-litigated and litigated RTA claims from inception through to settlement or trial.
This role offers exposure to high-net-worth insurer clients, providing an interesting and varied caseload with opportunities to take a proactive approach to litigation where required.
Key Responsibilities

Manage a full caseload of RTA subrogation and uninsured loss recovery files

Handle claims from initial instruction through to conclusion

Assess liability and quantum, setting case strategies

Conduct negotiations with third-party insurers and solicitors

Progress both pre-litigated and litigated matters

Deal with credit hire claims and associated losses

Liaise with insurers, clients, and external stakeholders

Ensure compliance with SRA and regulatory requirements

Work towards and achieve individual and team performance targets
About You

Qualified Solicitor (or equivalent)

Strong experience in motor litigation (essential)

Experience in subrogation / uninsured loss recovery

Good working knowledge of credit hire

Familiar with CPR, pre-action protocols, and litigation procedures

Experience handling Small Claims, Fast Track and Intermediate Track matters

Able to manage a caseload independently with minimal supervision

Strong communication and negotiation skills

Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
