Are you an experienced Subrogation or Motor Litigation Solicitor looking to join a well-established and growing law firm with a strong reputation in the insurance sector?

We’re working with a highly regarded firm in Warrington that is looking to expand its Subrogation team due to continued growth. This is an excellent opportunity to handle high-quality work, including complex and high-value recovery claims for insurer clients.


The Role

You will manage your own caseload of claimant subrogated recovery matters, handling both pre-litigated and litigated RTA claims from inception through to settlement or trial.

This role offers exposure to high-net-worth insurer clients, providing an interesting and varied caseload with opportunities to take a proactive approach to litigation where required.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a full caseload of RTA subrogation and uninsured loss recovery files

  • Handle claims from initial instruction through to conclusion

  • Assess liability and quantum, setting case strategies

  • Conduct negotiations with third-party insurers and solicitors

  • Progress both pre-litigated and litigated matters

  • Deal with credit hire claims and associated losses

  • Liaise with insurers, clients, and external stakeholders

  • Ensure compliance with SRA and regulatory requirements

  • Work towards and achieve individual and team performance targets


About You

  • Qualified Solicitor (or equivalent)

  • Strong experience in motor litigation (essential)

  • Experience in subrogation / uninsured loss recovery

  • Good working knowledge of credit hire

  • Familiar with CPR, pre-action protocols, and litigation procedures

  • Experience handling Small Claims, Fast Track and Intermediate Track matters

  • Able to manage a caseload independently with minimal supervision

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
